ExMac Automation was formed in 2009 as a joint business venture with MacDonald Humfrey (Automation) Ltd. This was to facilitate a major supply to Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, supplying specialist handling equipment for aero engine assembly.

ExMac was previously associated with Excel Automation. All key personnel were transferred to form ExMac, together with intellectual property rights and all conveyor system designs.

The business was integrated into the MacDonald Humfrey Group, and ExMac now operates from it’s bespoke facility in Droitwich.
